Currently Coveting

In case you haven't noticed I have a major shopping urge right now. This is day three of "Currently Coveting" this week, and it might just continue tomorrow.

I have been coveting these Steve Madden Shoes for over a year now. I first was introduced to the style when my friend Lyndsay had a pair that were similar from Target, and I have been eyeing them ever since.

Just last week blogger Sarah Tucker posted a photo of herself wearing the same shoes. I was hoping that Target had brought them back, but hers were also Steve Madden.

The biggest dilemma is which color to choose from!

If there's one thing we love here at C & C it's an awesome, entrepreneurial woman. And when you pair one with shoes, you've pretty much got a match made in heaven....enter Zhenzee. Zhenzee combines the age-old craft of knitting with durability, style, comfort and craftsmanship to create footwear designed to make you smile. And it does just that (especially their hashtag).



 

The company was co-founded by Shannon, a long-time friend of ours from Sun Valley who now lives in another great mountain town, Park City. She's worked for some incredible footwear brands and it's so exciting to see her kicking butt (in style) with her new company. 

 

From the beach to the mountains, these knit wonders are for the active girl who loves comfort. They were recently featured in Women's Running magazine as the perfect "after-sport" shoes. Now while I'm not running anywhere unless I'm chased anytime soon, I'm all about a change of shoes for every occasion (clearly post work out in the photo above, as I wasn't going to share how the rest of me looked).

 

 

With fun styles and colors, Zhenzees really do put a smile on your face. Who doesn't need a little more happy in their life?!

Products We Love: Joie A La Plage Sandals

One of my favorite things about summer is sandals (don't forget the pedicure, ladies). I've been wearing these Schutz beauties on repeat for the last two years and they're starting to show it. Apparently the sandal gods had a premonition and led me to these. 

I didn't know that Joie made shoes, but I'm so glad I know now, because the Nice Sandals are simple, yet sophisticated and just what I needed (needed, being a somewhat relative term - but I got them on crazy sale from Saks). 

 

They come in some really cute colors too (here, here, and here). Did I mention they're comfortable? 

Splurge vs. Save

Slip on kicks (a.k.a sneakers) are HOT this spring! I've had my eye on a few pairs...remember these?

Happy 35th Vara

Ferragamo's classic Vara pump is celebrating its 35th birthday. And they've got an online site where you can design your very own pair (don't worry, they only let you choose respectable pairings. Ferragamo would let ridiculous color combos walk the streets). You may have seen the fabulous likes of Olivia Palermo, Lake Belle, and Camilla Bell donning their perfectly picked pair in magazines and and blogs.

They've even got a gorgeous video to entice you...

I've been coveting a pair of these classic chaussures for a while and this may be the tipping point...I'm close enough to my 35th to warrant a joint celebration, right? Now the question remains, what colors?

For those of you not familiar with barre3 workouts, the class is done either barefoot or with socks. With the barre craze sweeping the nation, of course Nike was going to design a shoe to be worn during this type of workout. So, for the last few months I have been wearing my Nike Studio Wrap at barre3. 

The wrap set includes the ballet ribbons and a "street flat". To be honest, I don't wear the street flat or use the ribbons, but the wrap is fantastic! They come in pink and black as well as a few polka dot colorways. I have the pink.

I'm not planning on having anymore children, but these little moccasins from Freshly Picked might make me want to.....

NOPE!!! NOT HAPPENING! I may never put them on my own child, but I will certainly be buying these for all of my friends who are having babies and for any to-be nieces or nephews...no pressure Katie! They are the cutest! 

The moccasins are homemade by Susan Petersen in her home in Utah. Susan started making baby moccasins in 2009 after becoming frustrated by the lack of well-designed baby shoes. Using some scrap leather she picked up at a yard sale, she began experimenting with designs. Working at her kitchen table, on a shoestring budget, Susan created a pair of moccasins that are adorable and stay on your little person's feet!

Now if I could just place bets on how many of you are going to order a pair! :)
