What She Wore

It's been a while since I've posted some Mini Fashionista Fashion. Just before Christmas I ordered her the most amazing little giraffe print boots from Zara. I spent far more than I ever spend on shoes, more than I spend on pretty much anything for her, but they were worth every cent!

Earlier this week she (meaning I) paired them with her skinny leg gap jeans, a Gloverall duffle coat and a Crewcuts hat (on sale here). Underneath she had on a pink and white striped sweater.

It's a New Year

Welcome to 2013! C&C is looking forward to a great year! To start it off I thought I would share with you an old favorite...Nine West. Honestly, I haven't shopped there in years. I don't think I even have a pair of Nine West shoes in my closet anymore. That said, they have some really fabulous shoes, and at really great prices. I would gladly welcome any of these to my shoe collection for 2013!

What I Wore- Plaid and Primal

I came across this image on Pinterest and knew it was something I had to recreate (p.s. I DIE for those booties). I love plaid, and I love animal print, so why not mix the two together.

So here is my take on plaid and primal! I topped the look with my Woolrich Coat from Anthropologie (last Christmas). 

I layered a black blazer from Banana Republic (old) with a plaid shirt from J Crew (old), my J Brand Super Skinny Jeans (here),  Zara animal print flats (old) and finished the look with two Angela Caputi bracelets.

I definitely don't look as rockin as the girl in my inspiration photo, but I tried! Oh, and don't forget you can get 10% off Angela Caputi at Serena Italian Imports through the 20th using the code "holidaycardicouture". In this photo I am wearing the bracelets in latte and Rosso Corallo. 

Animal Style

Nearly a year ago, I posted this photo from my birthday dinner. All together the ensemble is pretty basic, but the shoes are definitely fun! Who doesn't love a good animal print. I got them at Zara, and at the time they were the last ones in the store. 

Last week I found these Pointy Tow Pony Skimmers from Urban Outfitters that are nearly identical and only $42!

They also come in 3 other "animal styles". 

For that price you could get two or three pairs!

Cardigan Wednesday- Reader Favorites
