Currently Coveting

Have you ever bought a pair of shoes from Sole Society? I have a pair of wedge boots that I got a few years ago. I've been really happy with them.

This season Sole Society has an amazing collection of shoes and boots, all at amazing prices. If I was buying right now, which I'm not (insert tears), I would add these two pairs to my closet.

Last summer I purchased my first pair of footbed sandals. Remember these from Target? One of my fashionista friends asked me if there were Loeffler Randall. I wore them non-stop.

These may be this year's sandal of the summer. They also are quite similar to the Paz sandal from Loeffler Randall, but are a fraction of the price.

Friday Fancies

It's Friday, and I've had a crazy busy week. So today's post is going to be short and sweet.

These Navy boots from Sole Society are fabulous. I love everything about them. The color. The heel. The price! I want them. I need them.

That's all.

Products We Love

Last week I posted on the Addison Wedge Bootie from Sole Society.

Beyond the wedge bootie, there are many, many other items I'm currently coveting. Let's start with the shoes...

And did you know they sell more than just shoes?

This wrap bracelet is only $29.95 and is super chic!

And these Leena Sunglasses...also only $29.95

Sole Society is a fantastic affordable place to find on trend shoes, handbags and accessories! So if you haven't checked it out yet...what are you waiting for?

Remember last year when I bought the amazing Addison wedge boot in Olive?

I love them and have gotten so much use out of them! And now they are being offered in even more colors...

For only $69.95 I might just need another pair!

Splurge vs. Save

One pair of these shoes costs $275 and the other pair only $54.95. Can you guess which is the more expensive of the two?

Click on the photos to find out which shoe is the "splurge" and which is the "save". Bottom line, they look incredibly similar and achieve the same look, but one of them is far more affordable than the other. Comment below to let us know if you guessed right!

Sole Searching

Have you been over to Sole Society lately? Another pair of shoes is just about the last thing I need, but that doesn't stop me from doing a little "sole" searching. If you haven't ordered from Sole Society before, I highly suggest it. You get $20 off your first order, and all of the shoes are less than $70. I got a pair of wedge booties last fall and love them. They are so comfortable and the quality is fantastic!

Here are some of my current Sole Society favorites!

Has anyone else made a Sole Society purchase? Have you been happy with your shoes?

What I Wore

On Tuesday the Mini Fashionista and I packed up and headed to Sun Valley to meet Katie and Dr. B for a week in the mountains. As you can see from the photo below, there isn't much snow, but we will be doing some skiing. Stay tuned next week for a summary of our trip!

Upon my arrival we met Katie and Dr. B for their last hole of golf. Katie insisted on taking this photo  for a "What I Wore" Post. So here it is...What I Wore for a one hour flight from Portland to Boise and then for a 2+ hour drive to Sun Valley...a lot of effort for travel, but worth it since I am now sharing it with you.

Chambray Shirt- Lands End Canvas (no longer available), Jeans- Citizens of Humanity (5+ years old), Belt- J Crew and Wedge Boots- Sole Society (blogged about them here).

I will honestly say if you had asked me 5 years ago if I would wear two shades of denim together I would have answered, emphatically, "NO", but here I am...eating my words.

Splurge vs. Save

J crew always has such fantastic shoes, but they are definitely an investment. The suede wedge bootie is very "in" right now, and this J Crew MacAlister Wedge ($198) is lust worthy.

The Sole Society Audrina Wedge Bootie is equally as fantastic and only $69.95! SOLD!!!

What I Wore

As you know from my previous blog post I decided on the army green wedge booties from Sole Society. Here's how I wore them for the first time. The sun came out, and the Mini Fashionista and I went downtown to meet a friend for lunch.

I paired them with my very dark wash J Brand Jeans, a J Crew gingham shirt and my Barbour vest.

What to wear them with next?

And just a reminder, you have until the end of the month to save 10% at Serena Italian Imports using the code "fallcardicouture"!

Fashion Conundrum

Last Friday on the C&C Facebook page I posed a very important question to our followers, grey or olive (technically the decision was between clove and army). I was set on purchasing this Addison wedge from Sole Society, but I couldn't decided which color.

Thanks to all of you who "voted". The winner was olive! So what color did I decide to buy? Olive! And here they are, even more fantastic than I could have imagined. These are going to be the perfect shoe for fall and winter. Stay tuned to see how I style them in upcoming "What I Wore" posts.

And let me take the opportunity to introduce you to Sole Society. Sole Society delivers on-trend shoes at surprisingly affordable prices. Members enjoy access to a new exclusive style each and every day. Think of it as belonging to a shoe club! And did I mention they offer free shipping BOTH ways, so if the shoe doesn't fit, literally and figuratively, you can send it back at no charge! We'll see how these boots hold up. If they do, I am sure to become a Sole Society regular.

Here are some of my other favorites.

Has anyone shopped Sole Society before? How did the shoes work out for you?
