Products We Love: Mark & Graham

It has been a while since we talked Mark & Graham over here on C & C. But, it was quickly back on my radar when my friend gave me these awesome copper cups (along with a bottle of vodka and some ginger beer) for hosting her baby shower (major props to her in the gift-giving category).

It got me thinking...Mark & Graham is pretty much a one-stop shop for great presents. Who doesn't like a good monogram in one form or another.

For the bride and groom, I love the idea of the everyday acrylic tumblers

And if you ARE the bride, every bridesmaid needs a jewelry roll for her baubles.

Grooms, you can't go wrong with a canvas supply bag for your buddies' manscaping products.

Did your friends buy a new home? Personalized melamine trays to the rescue. Everyone loves colorful outdoor dishware (or maybe that's just me?).

For the world traveler, nothing's more apropos than travel accessories

Best friend's birthday? The Elle Bangle is the perfect everyday addition to an arm party.

Aforementioned best friend having a baby...Mark & Graham has that covered too. These bibs are cute and practical...

And I don't care who you are, no wrong can be done with an acrylic tray. No wrong.

So, there it is. Worse-case scenario, you've got some good "self-gifting" ideas (woe is you). Go on, get your gift on.

Put Your Name On It

I love weekends just as much as I love monograms! Happy Saturday!

Products We Love

Our trip on the Salmon River started and ended in Sun Valley. With two of my fellow fashionista (and C&C readers) along for the adventure, I thought I owed them a little bit of retail therapy before dragging them out into the wild.

After a successful stop at Consign Design, we popped in to the Brass Ranch at the Sun Valley Resort. Shortly thereafter, we all walked out with these fabulous leather and gold bracelets. It was pure luck that they had all three of our letters....unfortunately there was no "K". Sorry Katie! :(

Good news is that Katie, and the rest of you, can order one online! The bracelets are made by designer Lisa Stewart .

Here are a few other pieces from her collection that I wouldn't mind adding to my own jewelry collection. All are priced reasonably around $100!

All of these pieces would make a lovely gift for Mother's Day, a birthday, graduation present, etc....or a I love myself present, which you all deserve!

Products We Love

It's no secret that C&C (especially Katie) is a fan of the monogram! Today, I thought I would share with you one of my favorite gift ideas. I know it's a great gift, because The Mini Fashionista received hers from her lovely Aunt Katie, and we think it's pretty fantastic!

La Plates sells personalized plates (as well as other items) that are a great gift for all the little people in your life. Invited to a first birthday and you don't know what to get? How about a cool striped plate? Get one of these and your gift will be personal, thoughtful and practical!

They pretty much stick a name, letter or monogram on everything! So, if a plate isn't your thing, they also sell cutting boards, cups, soap dispensers...you get the idea!

Monogram Mecca

I love monograms. There's something so lovely about three letters placed nice and neatly together in an assortment of pretty fonts. Now that I've got a new last name, it's only fitting that I need to re-stock my collection. Enter Mark and Graham. It's basically the Mecca of monograms. Launched just last week by Williams Sonoma, this site has everything you could ever want to put your name on. Here are a few of my favorite things - perfect for guests, hostess gifts, weddings, or just because.

Acrylic Serving Tray - $45 - $55

Gold Chevron and Confetti Paper Placemats (set of 50) - $25
If this doesn't get you giddy for holiday shopping, I don't know what will!

These Boots are Made for Monogramming

I admit it, I've got a pair of UGGs that I wear in the colder months, mostly to and from work. They're my commuting shoes. But who knew these beach-going, jean-skirt wearing furry feet had a little prep to them! Now you can get your very own pair of monogrammed UGGs

And for the mini fashionista in your life, her own pair!

Do you have a pair of UGGs?

Monogram Your Life

As a part of Katie's girl's weekend in Chicago, we all brought gifts with her new monogram. You can only imagine what a hit it was given how much she LOVES a monogram. Here is The Mini Fashionista modeling the hat I bought as my gift.

For any of you that love a monogram as much as Katie, let me introduce you to your new favorite site, Marley Lilly. This site is your go-to for anything monogrammed; from koozies to iphone covers. They've got it all. Here area  few of my favorites.

So get to it! Monogram your life (the Marley Lilly slogan)!

Monogram Mania

I am, and always will be, obsessed with monograms. If there is empty space, why not monogram it. Classic, elegant, timeless, preppy...I mean really, what isn't there to love about scribbling your initials all over something? I was recently at the D.C. offices of Facebook for work, and they've got a "wall" that visitors can sign. Unable to come up with anything witty to leave behind with my name on it, I just left my monogram. When in doubt, monogram it!

Lately, without intention, my life has been monogram mania. I'd been wanting a lace monogram necklace for sometime and finally had one made by a jeweler in NYC. I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out and have been wearing it non-stop since it arrived less than two weeks ago.

Digging around in my office drawer the other day, I found a birthday gift that a dear friend sent to me a few years ago (clearly she knows me well). This personal embosser can add your initials to stickers, envelopes, memos, even the inside of a book when lending it out. You got it, I'll monogram it.

Finally, my lucite tray (from a previous post) arrived from Erin Condren and I'm so thrilled with the colors (I just named the ones I wanted - salmon and mint - and they delivered), the quality, and the surprise step and repeat monograms on the bottom! Be still my heart. Me and this tray...it's the beginning of a beautiful relationship.
P.S. Don't forget to follow C & C on Facebook!

Stamp of Approval

If you are looking for a way to personalize your LV, that doesn't require putting a gigantic monogram down the side (see previous post), Hot Stamping is a great option. Hot Stamping can be used on all LV soft-sided products, small leather goods, and luggage tags. I like it!

One Monogram Too Many

I love my Louis Vuitton, but I am not completely sold on the idea of adding a monogram to the already "monogrammed" luggage and totes. Is this one monogram too many?

Monogram Me

I am not always a fan of monograms, but they definitely have their place in fashion. Here is one monogram I would wear, Jennifer Zeuner's monogram pendant ($242).
LC's a fan!
