Worth Sharing

Sometimes I find something so fabulous that I wonder if I should just keep it to myself? I know that sounds selfish, but with social networking and communication running at the speed of light, is anything really unique and authentic anymore? Not really, but I guess that is why I love reading other blogs, looking at Pinterest, Instagram, facebook, etc.... I digress....anyway, a few weeks ago on the blog Sadie and Stella I spotted this fantastic Gigi python tote with a gold embossed monogram. This bag looks expensive like a Goyard or Louis Vuitton but is actually a fraction of the price at only $285. Doesn't it look far more expensive?

And it comes in a variety of really fantastic colors. Which would you choose? 

The pink or orange would be my choice. This is being added to my birthday wish list!

Last Hurrah

I am not sure if you saw the news, but Nike is selling Cole Haan. So not only have I given up my discount, but now none of my Nike friends will have a discount anymore.

Le sigh!

Much to My Liking

Nothing completes a fall or winter ensemble like a good blazer. I received the most recent Boden catalogue last week and found these beauties much to my liking. 

And while this is not a blazer, I am kind of in LOVE with this hand held tweed tote. I feel that when combined with skinny dark jeans, a Barbour jacket and some fabulous riding boots I will be channeling Duchess Kate.

Missing the Discount

Last week the Mini Fashionista and I had to pay a visit to the Apple Store. Of course the only way to get there involved walking past Cole Haan. It's been over a year since I left Nike to start my own business, and quite honestly the thing I miss most is my discount. 

In the window were these beautiful, handpainted shoes and handbag. I would gladly add both to my closet. Too bad I don't get 50% off anymore.

Beach Bag

Katie is heading to Turks and Caicos for a long 4th of July weekend...lucky lady, whereas the Mini Fashionista and I will be headed to the mountains of Idaho, beautiful, but not Turks and Caicos. Anyway, her beach vacation inspired me to post these beach totes from Jonathan Adler.

Cute, but maybe a bit too nice for the beach. Then again, I had the salesman at Goyard tell me that the St. Louis tote makes a great beach bag. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think a $900 handbag really belongs on the beach!

Switzerland is one of my most favorite places in the entire world. When I saw these bags, I knew I had to have one. They are made from recycled Swiss Post Mail Bags, and given the motto of the Swiss Postal Service, "For the Most Discerning Customers in the World," the bags have to be as fabulous as they look.

Really...Rainbows?

J Crew has done its share of collaborations. They currently sell Timex, Adidas, New Balance and Angela Adams. I can't say I really understand the reasoning behind any of these brands being at J Crew, but what leaves me really perplexed is the fact that they are now selling Rainbow Sandals????

Don't get me wrong, these are my FAVORITE flip flops, but the last place I would think of buying them is at J Crew!
