What I Wore- Plaid and Primal

I came across this image on Pinterest and knew it was something I had to recreate (p.s. I DIE for those booties). I love plaid, and I love animal print, so why not mix the two together.

So here is my take on plaid and primal! I topped the look with my Woolrich Coat from Anthropologie (last Christmas). 

I layered a black blazer from Banana Republic (old) with a plaid shirt from J Crew (old), my J Brand Super Skinny Jeans (here),  Zara animal print flats (old) and finished the look with two Angela Caputi bracelets.

What I Wore

As you know from my previous blog post I decided on the army green wedge booties from Sole Society. Here's how I wore them for the first time. The sun came out, and the Mini Fashionista and I went downtown to meet a friend for lunch. 

I paired them with my very dark wash J Brand Jeans, a J Crew gingham shirt and my Barbour vest.

Splurge vs. Save

Colored jeans are one of the top trends this year. That said, are they worth investing in, or is it better to spend your money on more classic denim? Whatever your price point, there is a pair for you.

Black Friday

If I was headed out to brave the chaos of Black Friday, this would be my outfit of choice...comfortable, chic, and a little bit of Military inspiration to show those other shoppers that I show no mercy when it comes to a good bargain!

The Right Fit

I am a big fan of J Brand skinny jeans (particularly the 912). Today on Cupcakes and Cashmere, Emily posted on the J Brand Low Rise Leggings. Apparently they fit perfectly, and in all the right places. I have a feeling they will quickly be sold out...so order now!

I Got It On Ebay

For anyone who doesn't shop ebay, may I suggest you consider it. These are my most recent ebay purchase, a pair of new J Brand 912 Skinny Jeans in Black, and for only $76! I can't wait for them to arrive on my doorstep.
