Industry Standard

There's a new denim company in town. Say "hello" to Industry Standard.  They are designed in NYC,  the material is sourced from North Carolina, they are manufactured in LA and they are pretty damn cool. Not to mention the incredibly reasonable prices! 

I got the Odette midrise in white. There is some stretch in the jeans, but they are definitely on the snug side and made for slimmer figures (at least the pair I got), so make sure to order up a size.

Let Me Re-Introduce You to Land's End

You know Land's End, right? Well I'm not sure you know THIS Land's End. The catalog arrived a few weeks ago and I was folding corners right and left (BTW, that tactic NEVER works in getting my husband's attention, but I do it anyway). Here are a few of my picks (all available in petite and plus-size too).

This shirt is so cute for winter and the chambray-lined cuffs add that extra little bit of detail.

I bet you never thought you'd say anything Land's End looked Chanelesque...this plaid fringe texture jacket goes there. 

And these jeans are SO cute, and get great reviews (actually, I'll take the entire outfit). I'm really tempted to order a pair. 

I might need a pair of these berry rouge corduroy jeans. 

The pop of yellow in this cashmere sweater brings a little sunshine to colder weathers.

Splurge vs. Save

Colored jeans are one of the top trends this year. That said, are they worth investing in, or is it better to spend your money on more classic denim? Whatever your price point, there is a pair for you. 

If you are looking to SPLURGE, check out my personal favorite the J Brand Twill Skinny Jean for $176. They come in a variety of colors, and these jeans fit like a glove! If you haven't tried J Brand skinny jeans...well, you're missing out!

Or, if you prefer to SAVE, the Urban Outfitters BDG Cigarette Jeans are equally as cute and only a third the price at $58. Either way you will be looking Red Hot! 

Sporty Yet Chic

I have been looking for a pair of white, cropped jeans, and these carpenter jeans from Gap are exactly what I had in mind...sporty yet chic.

The Right Fit

I am a big fan of J Brand skinny jeans (particularly the 912). Today on Cupcakes and Cashmere, Emily posted on the J Brand Low Rise Leggings. Apparently they fit perfectly, and in all the right places. I have a feeling they will quickly be sold out...so order now!

I Got It On Ebay

For anyone who doesn't shop ebay, may I suggest you consider it. These are my most recent ebay purchase, a pair of new J Brand 912 Skinny Jeans in Black, and for only $76! I can't wait for them to arrive on my doorstep.
