Copying: "Do" or "Don't"?

My friend JM has these boots on over the weekend, and I have major boot envy. And they are so much more amazing in person than in this photo. The picture does them no justice.

What are your thoughts on buying the same things as your friends? Truth be told I already copied her once this year on a pair of Toms shoes. Remember when I blogged about these (post here)?

Beauty Booties

One of our reliable readers, AS, recently posted this adorable picture on instagram. Of course inquiring minds wanted to know where oh where did she get these adorable booties. Enter Clarks. Yes, you read that right - Clarks. The Purity Frost suede bootie comes in three perfect colors for fall - black, grey, and burgundy. And the wedge is super joint friendly for those of us who can't wear the stilettos like we used to in our younger years. 

I'd happily add a pair, or all three, of these beauty booties to my closet for fall. 

It's a New Year

Welcome to 2013! C&C is looking forward to a great year! To start it off I thought I would share with you an old favorite...Nine West. Honestly, I haven't shopped there in years. I don't think I even have a pair of Nine West shoes in my closet anymore. That said, they have some really fabulous shoes, and at really great prices. I would gladly welcome any of these to my shoe collection for 2013!
