Copying: "Do" or "Don't"?

My friend JM has these boots on over the weekend, and I have major boot envy. And they are so much more amazing in person than in this photo. The picture does them no justice.

What are your thoughts on buying the same things as your friends? Truth be told I already copied her once this year on a pair of Toms shoes. Remember when I blogged about these (post here)? 

So, is copying a "do" or a "don't"? 

Pleasantly Surprised

A few weeks ago I received a Stitch Fix credit and decided it was time to give the service a try again. My first few "fixes" were fairly unsuccessful, so I didn't have high hopes. 

I told the stylist that I was on the hunt for a new pair of black skinny jeans, and much to my surprise, she delivered! 

At first I was a bit skeptical when I looked at the tag and saw that they were Mavi. It's not really a brand that I would gravitate towards, but I tried them on anyway, and they fit PERFECTLY! 

So, if you are in the market for a pair of black skinny jeans with low rise and some stretch, then I highly recommend giving these a try.

As you may have seen in my post last week, I wore them recently with my new TOMS and had to roll the cuff because I haven't had the time to take them to the tailor yet.

What I Wore

If you follow C&C on Instagram and/or Facebook then you might have weighed in on last week's poll: right or left, or both? 

The results were pretty split, so I knew I couldn't choose wrong. 

While I wanted to justify the purchase of both pairs, my practical self chimed in and limited me to just one. I decided to go with the TOMS.

 I wore them last week for the first time, and they were pretty comfy.

I think for any longer walks I will definitely need to wear them with socks!
