Since I've Been Gone

I apologize that it's been so long since my last post. I've been dealing with that thing called "life" lately and some additional stress added by parenting. I'll likely write a "Keeping it Real" post in the future, but for now I'll just say, "adulting is hard" and "parenting is really F***ing hard."

To get back into blogging I thought I'd share a few of the things I've been reading, wearing (or dreaming of wearing), and dreaming of in general.

I'm obsessed with this house. It's extremely similar to my house...but a lot bigger and a lot more $$$. A girl can dream. 

EZ PZ

I'm pretty out of the loop when it comes to the latest and greatest things for babies, so I'm not going to the be the biggest help to Katie as she prepares for the arrival of her Mini Fashionista. Don't get me wrong, I still have a list of "must haves" that I have shared with her, but there are so many new products on the market, I'm not quite as in-the-know as I used to be.

I was at a friend's house the other day, and she has 11 month old twins. She had these EZPZ happy mats on the tablet, and I knew I had to tell Katie about them.

Getting kids to eat is hard. Getting kids to eat healthy food is even harder. Lucky for us the Mini Fashionista has had healthy eating habits instilled in her from the very beginning, so we don't struggle with getting her to eat fruits and vegetables, but I know many, many parents that do. 

Here is a great way to make eating FUN for kids, Dylbug plates! These fun plates, placemats and cutters not only personalize the eating experience but they also make it fun and engaging. 

I know parents tell kids not to "play with their food" (I told the Mini today in fact), but sometimes playing with food is a good thing.
