Currently Coveting

I was telling my husband the other day that I wanted a new pair of "summer" PJ's and then Katie coincidentally sent me a link to these Lake Pajamas. These are on my wish list.

They also make these really cute silk tees that can be worn as a pajama top or with your everyday clothes.

Currently Coveting

I am currently coveting these amazing pajamas from Marigot. I love pajamas, and I actually don't have any in this style with shorts. These will definitely be on my Christmas List. I hope Santa is paying attention.

They have a number of styles in shorts and pants, so if you are in the market for something cute and cozy to cuddle up in this winter, check them out!

Right on Target

Last week I visited the Bullseye Boutique (a.k.a. Target) to pick up a few necessities. I was immediately distracted, as usual, by everything that wasn't on my list.  Their holiday merchandising has really been stepped up, everything is right on trend and as always, the prices are right!

I die for these glitter smoking slippers. Only $19.99 (I should have bought them) and these hot heels were an affordable $32.99.

Next to the women's clothes...love this gold glitter blouse and these cable knit sweaters.

They had a fantastic selection of sleepwear and accessories. I came home with this adorable sleeping mask for only $4.99.

On to accessories with colorful socks, bright belts, adorable glasses cases and a fun printed pencil case.

And finally, the Mini Fashionista and I had some fun in the hat section! I might be going back for one of these hats!

I restocked my sock collection with some polka dots and stripes. I also picked up a gift for my lovely twin sister for Christmas, but I can't ruin the surprise...

If you haven't been to Target lately and are looking for fun gifts for your friends and family, or for yourself, you should go...SOON.

And, in case you missed Friday's post, Serena Italian Imports is offering 10% through the 20th!

Sleep Tight

I love Pajamas! Long sleeve, luxiourious cotton and completely un-sexy pajamas. My favorite pair I received from Katie a few years back for Christmas. They are Tory Burch, and I love them; so much that I've worn holes through them and have had them repaired.

I am always on the hunt for new pajamas, and when I was introduced to the brand Three J NYC I was immediately smitten.  Three J NYC was founded by Alexandria (Ali) McLeod. She named the line after her siblings—sister Jamie, and brothers Jeff and John. "Pajamas were a big part of Ali's childhood. Whether it was the smell of shampoo on her and her siblings' freshly washed hair after a bath, playing in footed pajamas before bed, or waking up on weekend mornings to pancakes piled high with whipped cream, maple syrup and fresh strawberries (her mother's specialty), many of her most favorite childhood memories take place in pajamas."

Three J NYC sells online at Shopbop as well as on their website. Here are a few of my favorites.

What is your favorite kind of sleepwear?

P.S. Only a few days left to save 10% at Serena Italian Imports to get that Angela Caputi bracelet you've been dying for! Use the code "fallcardicouture"!

Designer Profile- Hatley

On our last trip to Sun Valley I bought the Mini Fashionista the cutest pair of "mountain jammies!" Here she is modeling them with her BFF Bun Bun.

The jammies have a fun print with moose, bears, canoes and other mountain life. They do kind of look like "boy pajamas" with the forest green cuff and collar, but who says girls have to wear pink all the time anyway?

The brand is Hatley, a family-run Canadian company, who has been helping people get "clothes to nature" with its cotton pajamas and loungewear for over twenty years. I have to admit, I kind of want a pair of these cozy jammies for myself. So, of course I had to check out the website to see if they offered them in adult sizes. The matching PJ set is only for children (probably a good thing), but they do have cozy pajama pants for women. They also have a small selection of other apparel including dresses, outerwear and hoodies. It has a similar look and feel to Boden, but a bit more casual.  I'll probably stick to buying just for the Mini, but here are a few cute things I would consider for myself.

These pants would be perfect for cold winter nights.

A cute dotted rain coat.

Stripes with an exposed zipper. Always a winning combination!

And who doesn't love a striped hoody?

Let's Be Practical

While I have a habit of posting beautiful (and expensive) things on my blog, and I frequently add them to my so called "Christmas List", the reality is that many of those things don't fit into the reality of my every day life.

Here are a few of the real items on my Christmas list and ones that might actually be under the tree tomorrow morning.

Deck The Halls

With something cozy....

One of my favorite things about Winter is getting to wear cozy pajamas. Some of my favorites include PJ Salvage and Bead Head Pajamas. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw these two pairs of PJ's from J Crew. Both are cute, comfortable and affordable. If you haven't already maxed out your Christmas list, I suggest adding a comfy pair of PJ's to cuddle up in this holiday season.
