Happily Grey

Last week I introduced you to blogger Beth and her fantastic blog Seersucker + Saddles (here). Well, I thought I would share another one of my new favorite bloggers, Mary from Happily Grey.  Like Beth, Mary has awesome style and more of often than not, she posts links to the items so that if you really like something, it's easy to track down.

Here are a few of my favorite posts from Mary at Happily Grey.

And a few side thoughts....1) she too must have a huge closet, 2) How come I don't look this cool and easy breezy when posing for my "what i wore" posts?, and 3) She must have a really nice camera and a good photographer.

What I Wore

On Wednesday I introduced you to blogger Beth and her blog Seersucker + Saddles (see blog post here). Her style is fantastic, inspiring and enviable!

This outfit I found particularly inspirational!

Given that I have every basic component of this outfit, I thought I would give it a try. So here is what I wore, as inspired by Beth!

Cole Haan rain jacket, Banana Republic black blazer, orange striped H&M shirt, J Crew animal print belt (from Katie for Christmas), Paige straight leg jeans, and Tory Burch quilted flats.

The stripes and animal print combination could be my new favorite! What do you think?

Style Inspiration

One of my most favorite places to get style inspiration is from fellow bloggers. I love to see what other women put together and use it as a starting point using clothes currently in my closet. When I came across the blog Seersucker + Saddles, I knew it was going to become a daily read. The writer, Beth, has seriously enviable style...and clothes. Her closet must be ENORMOUS!

Here are some of the looks that I am planning to use for inspiration for my own outfits! I love how she puts together color, patterns and textures. This is what fashion is all about!
