Never Too Much Navy

I have a work event coming up for which I needed a new navy blouse, so I did some online browsing and came away with this polka dot blouse from Zara (no scarf). 

I've already worn it once and am so happy with the purchase.

And since they offer free shipping for orders over $50, I thought why not add something else to my cart. I full anticipated sending this sweater back, but it's way to good.

In fact, for only $29.90 I might consider ordering it in another color. It's fabulous.

I've got the Itch

I've got the itch, the shopping itch. It comes up really quickly, and is nearly impossible to resist the urge to scratch.

So this kinds of things happens. I shop online.

This shirt is as fabulous as it looks. I wore it on Saturday night with white jeans and nude patent heels. I didn't take any pictures, but next time I wear it, I will try to do a "What I Wore" post.

If you love navy and white stripes as much as Katie and I do, I highly recommend ordering this blouse. It runs true to size.

A Real Deal

This may be a bold assumption, because I haven't seen it in person....BUT, I think this Target Mossimo Women's Long Sleeve Tunic Blouse could be pretty amazing. Like go with anything, buy in all four colors kind of amazing. And did I mention it's only $22.99. 

Because you're our loyal readers, I thought I should probably share. Now who is going to go out and buy one and report back? We can't do all the work here people!

Splurge vs. Save

Pink and navy is one of my favorite color combinations, so when I saw this Lilly Pulitzer Elsa blouse I knew I had to have it. Then, unfortunately, I saw the price tag, $158. At that point I knew I had to find something like it.

While this Old Navy striped blouse isn't exactly the same, it's close enough, and certainly the right price, only $25. I will be sure to post a "What I Wore" when I wear it! It's actually much cuter than it looks in this photo.

A Little Zig, A Little Zag

Our 10 hour drive home on Monday left me with ample time to catch up on the gigantic stack of magazines that had been sitting on our coffee table for months now. When perusing through my August issue of Real Simple I was immediately struck by this fantastic chevron print dress.

I immediately grabbed my iPhone to hunt it down on shopsosie.com.  It's a miracle the dress is still available, especially at the amazing price of $43! What I also came upon was a chevron lover's dream...blouses and dresses in a variety of color combinations all with the winning zig zag print!

The news gets even better, every style is less than $50! There are so many to choose from that I don't know where to start! Which is your favorite?

Bean Boatnecks

Maglia Rosa

In honor of the Giro d'Italia and its 100th year, I thought I would pay homage to the Maglia Rosa, the leader's pink jersey. Since there isn't much room for Women's fashion in cycling, except for the Podium Girls (which I will address in a future post), I thought I would showcase my version of a Maglia Rosa.
