Fashion Hunters

This post is a few weeks later than I intended, but I kept forgetting to blog about it, so better late than never.

Has anyone been watching Bravo's newest show Fashion Hunters? If you haven't, here's the 4-1-1....

"Whether it is a classic Chanel suit or this season’s hottest Jimmy Choo shoes, Fashion Hunters follows the fashionistas at Second Time Around (a NYC consignment store) as they go out searching the attics, closets and garages of New York’s elite.  Far from the land of thrift, this hip shop makes dreams come true for shoppers looking for designer fashions on a budget.  The team has to deal with demanding customers from savvy socialites to downtown hipsters looking to sell back or buy their next great “get.”

In the second episdoe they held a Birken party where the women sold and traded the bags they were "tired of." Sounds like a really terrible problem. Anyway, if you haven't seen it, tune in on Tuesday nights on Bravo!

Whitney Port from The City recently did a spread in Women's Health Magazine, and she looks fabulous. I love how she still has a bit of her California vibe even though she is in NYC... and what I wouldn't kill for those legs!

Real Life Gossip Girl

On June 23rd Bravo debuts its newest reality show, NYC Prep. NYC Prep chronicles the lives of a group of privileged teenagers- whether it's on sophisticated vacations or to a townhouse for an exclusive midnight party, their lives intertwine as they network, shop, party, study, date and write college applications. Everyone's beautiful and everyone's connected. Sounds like a real life Gossip Girl. I can't wait to tune in.

Bright Lights Burberry

Burberry lit up the NYC skyline earlier this week by unveiling a new sign on their US headquarters. Not only did the sign light up the night, but the stars came out to shine in Burberry fashions.
