Runway Review - Katie Ermilio Spring 2013
We've had our eye on Katie and her designs since 2010 and have blogged about her a few times. Now she is back with her Spring 2013 collection, and it surpasses expectations! She describes the collection as "luxurious, but relaxed."Her aesthetic is feminine, classic, and includes a lot of stripes (you know I swoon for stripes).

Wedding Shower Weekend
This weekend we celebrated the last of our pre-wedding activities with a Jack and Jill shower here in D.C. I was excited to wear white, a true perk of being the bride. The BHLDN dress that I scored on Gilt Groupe was perfect for an evening garden party!
Our family friends threw us beautiful party with delicious food, great friends, and mango margaritas that made me feel like summer really is upon us!
On Sunday after the craziness was over and we sent our parents on their way, we unpacked the fruits of the "stock the bar" party. We'll definitely be returning the favor for all of our friends shortly after the wedding. And now we've got the means to do it!
We spent the rest of the day recovering and enjoying some sun time.

BHLDN
When we were in Chicago we visited one of two BHLDN stores that exist (the other is in Houston). If you haven't heard of the store, it's owned by Anthropologie, but specializes in wedding event dresses, accessories, and decor, and it was beautiful. I'll let the pictures do the talking.
I also tried on these three but they weren't quite right. The search continues...
If you've got any ideas for me, I'm open to suggestions!
