Fashion First Aid

Do you remember the backless dress I got earlier this year?

During our recent trip to Laguna Niguel, I had the opportunity to wear the dress for the third time. Clearly since the dress is backless, you can't wear a bra, which isn't really a problem for me given my nearly non-existent chest.

That said, a little lift is never a bad thing. When I was recently introduced to Fashion First Ad, I was immediately interested in The Perk Up, adhesive breast lifts that perk up sagging boobs??? Yes please!

I bought them and wore them with my backless dress and couldn't have been happier. If I'd only known about this amazing product the first two times I wore the dress. No more saggy raisins for me! And, I also purchased the Nipplomats, reusable nipple concealers. These are another MUST have for all women.

If you are not familiar with Fashion First Aid, the name says it all. This site has all the fashion fixes so you don't make a fashion faux pas or worse....have a wardrobe malfunction.

Here are a few of my other favorite products that I own and use!

The Strap Trap converts your regular bra into a racerback! Love these!

Anyone else take everything, including buttons to the seamstress? I am a terrible seamstress. I say I can sew buttons, but I don't do it well. Now with just one click, I really can sew a button.

Where has this little gadget been all my life?

If you are interested in buying some of these products and checking out some of the other products you can access the site through our C&C Ambassador page.

As I buy and use more of the products, I will be sure to report back.

What I Wore

Over the weekend the opportunity finally came for me to wear my fabulous backless dress that I got from ASOS a few months ago (remember the preview post?).

I have some serious respect for bloggers who regularly post pictures of themselves. I feel completely ridiculous trying to get a good shot, but here are some of my attempts.

I wore the dress with my gold Ferragamo sandals (seen here), a turquoise Angela Caputi bracelet and grandmother's gold clutch. I will definitely be wearing the dress again soon. It's fun, comfortable and made me feel really good about myself (bonus)!

Stay tuned later this week for a summary of our trip to San Diego!

Dress Me Up

I've been on the dress hunt. Remember this dress I posted a while back for a reader who was looking for a maid of honor dress (post here).

Well, I ordered it, and it is fabulous! I have never felt like a dress fit me so well and flattered my figure better. It has taken me a long time to figure out that strapless doesn't play up my best assets. Instead, I've decided that backless and plunging necklines are my go-to's. Find what works and stick to it!

Since I will be wearing this dress in a few weeks for a wedding, I am only giving you a sneak peek. You will have to wait for a "What I Wore" post!

In the same ASOS order, I also ordered this fabulous dress.

I really wanted to keep it, but I bought this ASOS triangle shift dress last year, and it's exactly the same silhouette and also happens to be black and white.

Once again, I've found a style that flatters my figure, and who doesn't love an exposed zipper! I really do want to keep it, but can't justify it. If this dress goes on sale, it will definitely be mine.

I am sure I will kick myself when it's sold out...
