What I Wore...Athleta Makes Real Clothes

Up until a month ago I hadn't bought ANYTHING but maternity clothes. And it must be said, it's pretty nice to buy regular clothes again even if I've got a few more lbs to lose. I took a trip to the mall, yes THE MALL, the other day when I was still on maternity leave and went into the Athleta store. Did you know that Athleta makes something other than workout clothes? Yeah, me neither. And it's cute.
I've been in the market for a wide-knit sweater and the Merino Lodge Sweater was JUST the ticket. And the price, especially compared to some of the others I'd seen and liked, is completely reasonable at $108. I bought it in black but am seriously contemplating the walnut.

The sweater looks great on its own (it's not itchy) or with a button down underneath. I love how it's a little longer in the back, giving you nice bootie coverage. It was the perfect thing to wear on our recent trip apple picking.

Here are a few other non-workout clothes from Athleta that I'm eying.
Ponte Night on the Town Dress
Long and Lean Shirt & Helena Suede Jacket
Ponte Moto Pant

  1. Love Athleta! One of my favorite brands out there right now.

  2. i didn't know athleta made real clothes! wow... i still haven't shopped there, it is price prohibitive for me haha
