C & C on the Move: Storm King

I'm finally getting around to sharing photos from our trip to New York two weekends ago (stay tuned later this week for last weekend's adventure). Since Dr. B is a Jets season ticket holder (J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!), we often spend quite a few weekends up North in the fall. But if you read regularly, you know I've been "on the move" a lot recently so this was my first trip up for a game. We spent Saturday taking full advantage of being in the Hudson River Valley during what I think is the most spectacular time of year.

A visit to Storm King Art Center has long been on my "list" of things to see, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect for a visit to arguably the nation's largest sculpture garden - spanning over 500 acres. It's like a golf course...without the golf...and over 100 crazy-big pieces of art scattered about. The weather was perfect, and the fall colors were out in all their glory. We only had an hour and a half to walk around, so we'll definitely be returning with a picnic basket some time soon to really soak it all in and see every piece of art.

And the weekend was complete with a Jets win. Unfortunately I can't say the same for this weekend, but they are having a great season so far!
