Winning Streak

A few weeks ago I decided that I was going to enter every giveaway, on every blog that I follow (I think I have about 120 blogs on my google reader).

You see, I haven't won anything since I won a car at my high school grad night nearly 15 years ago...I won a Subaru Justy that looked like this car! I sold it and am pretty sure I spent all the money shopping away my freshman year college "depression" at Abercrombie & Fitch, because it was still cool back then.

Back to the giveaways...so in the past three weeks I have entered at least 4 or 5 giveaways, and get this...I WON two of them! The first being from the blog Elements of Style. And I didn't just win a coffee mug, or a notepad, I won 4 dining room chairs from this awesome company called Industry West! These beautiful Marais AC antique copper chairs are currently in my dining room!

Unfortunately the color is a bit too similar to our other furniture, so I  think I am going to have them powder coated grey, something like this.

Then, the following Monday (just last week), I was notified by Jillian of Cornflake Dreams that I had won her Ellie giveaway of this cute pink "tempt me" tank! Another score! I have been following this brand since they launched a month or two ago, and am excited to try their products.

So, moral of the story. Enter giveaways, because you might just win! Maybe even twice!
