So for the last few days, amidst all the excitement, I've been trying to figure out the perfect way to tell you all, my trusted readers, the big news. And then I realized, I just need to do it. There is no perfect way, and you'll be happy for me, regardless of how great my prose are. I'm engaged! It happened on Saturday night and we couldn't be happier. Here's a picture of me and my Dr. B last Christmas (We don't have any good photos of us together from the actual night). Isn't he the cutest!!
We're off to Turks and Caicos on Saturday to celebrate. I'll make sure to post some photos of our trip upon our return. In the meantime, I promise you this, C & C will not turn into a wedding blog, but every once in a while, it may stray to some related topics because it's going to be a topic of conversation for the next 14th months. If you've got any wedding planning words of wisdom. Send them. Wedding Blogs I need to read. Pass them along. Recommendations on how to handle all the things I'd never think I'd have to deal with. Let's set up a phone date. I'll need all the help I can get.
XOXO
Katie

ReplyDeleteCONGRATS!!!! Mandy (Chris' sister) was super helpful with designing and making invitations. The best advice she gave me was, do not be involved with any of the planning and wedding issues on the day of the wedding. Will you get married in Idaho?
