Get Fresh

Remember Joe Fresh, the Canadian company I blogged about back in May?  They had a great deal on these adorable striped driving loafers?

As I shared, the only retail stores are in NY and NJ. Wah, wah, wah....

Now for the good news, J.C. Penney Co. and Joe Fresh have struck a deal and will open shops in 700 Penney stores beginning in April.  The shops will debut with women’s apparel selling dresses, t-shirts, denim and silk blouses. And, Joe Fresh products will be available online at jcp.com. Here are a few of my favorite items from the current collection.

Now we just have to wait until April and hope our JCP store is lucky enough to get the Joe Fresh shop. 

Splurge vs. Save

Kate Middleton has become a style icon, and rightfully so. Now all of us commoners, including me, want to dress just like the duchess. She is frequently seen wearing the L.K. Bennett Maddox Wedge, which are pretty fabulous, like everything she wears, but for 175 pounds, they are not priced for the commoners. 

  

Here's an affordable option that looks nearly exactly the same, and they only cost $35. I don't know where the closest JCP is (that's JC Penny's new name...if you haven't heard), but I might just have to find it and get my hands on this wedge!
