What I Wore to Work: Hospital Gown What?

I was in need of a little wardrobe pick-me-up, so you'll be seeing an uptick of "What I Wore" posts. Starting with my favorite buy - this shirtdress from Madewell. When it arrived, Dr. B asked if I thought my "hospital gown" was work appropriate? I confirmed indeed it was.

I debuted my medical fashion Friday at work and got several compliments, validating what I already knew. This dress is going to be the perfect, versatile summer staple. I commuted in my new Miu Miu smoking shoes that I picked up on our trip to Sun Valley at Consign Design.

And switched into a pair of Stuart Weitzman wedges for the day. Add three Angela Caputi bracelets and the Danielle Nicole Eva Satchel  and I had myself an outfit.

If this is hospital gown fashion, I'm all for it. In fact, I'm wearing it tonight to see Taylor Swift in concert!

What I Wore

One of my favorite things about the weekends is weekend wear! With the great discount on Angela Caputi this month (use code CCSUMMER15), I thought I'd show you how I accessorize them..and when I say them, I mean multiples. Why wear just one?!
Old Navy Shirt (similar) | Rock and Republic Jeans (similar)
Cole Haan Gramercy Oxfords
My boyfriend jeans and loose-fitting top are staples for running errands or brunch. The best part about the Angela Caputi bracelets is that they take a simple outfit and add that little extra something. The shoes help too.

Hunter Dixon blouse (from Gilt)
Seven white jeans (similar)
Wicker clutch (similar)
Schutz Devon sandals (from Gilt)
Just like boyfriend jeans, everyone needs a pair of white jeans in their summer wardrobe. Add a bright-colored top, a pair of sandals, and you're good to go for a night out on the town. And don't forget your turquoise and blue Angela Caputi bracelets - one of my favorite color combos.

What are your go-to looks for the weekend?

Products We Love

It's no secret that Katie and I have a mild obsession with Angela Caputi bracelets. Let me refresh your memory.

Even the Mini Fashionista loves them!

This might be news to you, but Angela Caputi also makes her beautiful resin necklaces!

Our favorite Angela Caputi supplier, Serena Italian Imports, sells them in a selection of colors including black, turquoise and yellow. I have the turquoise and love it!

Through the end of the month, Serena Imports is offering 15% off so you too can stock up on more bracelets or get yourself a fabulous necklace! Use the code CCSUMMER15 to redeem your discount!

Travel Time

If you're a frequent traveler, then you know how important it is to have great luggage, bags, and other necessities. From trial and error, to recommendations from friends, I'm finally dialed in. And what good is such not information if you can't share it with your readers?! So here goes.

Best carry-on bag, hands down is the Lo & Sons O.G. It has all the right pockets, a sleeve that fits it over your roller board, and a padded laptop sleeve - to name a few. Check out this video that shows you just how much you can fit in this beauty! It comes in four colors and they regularly have discount codes on their Facbook page. In fact, use the code GIFTOFLOVE2013 until Valentine's Day and receive 20% off.

I always carry on my jewelry (you never know if your bag is going to make it), and this jewelry roll from Pottery Barn is my go-to. You can even have it monogrammed.

If you're going for a weekend, you definitely need a roller board. For me, it's all about packing power - how much can I fit into that little suitcase. The Heys zCase, weighing in at 7 pounds, with the four wheel spinner system does the trick (and it's tricked out with a spinner system).

Airplanes are cold. Always. It doesn't matter what season, I never go anywhere without a large wrap - and when I mean large, it's essentially a blanket. My current favorite is no longer available, but here's a cute alternative.

And last, but not least, I can't go anywhere without my Angela Caputi bracelets. The best part about these is that you don't have to take them off to go through the metal detectors - fast and fashionable!
