Kate Spade has launched a new collection of handbags called The Book of the Month Clutch. Currently there are 3 versions in the collection (all $325). This bag would be a fantastic conversation starter, fashion leading to the discussion of Fiction! I Love it!

Kate Spade makes classic, colorful and chic cardigans, and this Beeline Billie Cardigan is no exception. While the price is a steep $265, the detail and construction is certainly superior to your average cardi and could be worth the investment.

Portland Pride

It brings me great satisfaction to blog about local Portland designers. There is so much undiscovered and under appreciated talent in this city (hello....the Portland designers kick butt on Project Runway...Go Gretchen!).

Nick Everett is no exception. In Collaboration with Portland menswear boutique Winn Perry, he launched Vanport Outfitters. The Laurent Sauve Beach Sling is crafted with cotton duck canvas, brass hardware, and reclaimed dock line for the shoulder strap. It's available at Le Train Bleu for $98.

I found this adorable pink dress on Dakota Collective and am totally smitten. I used to say pink was my signature color, but I think I OD'd a bit, and haven't worn much of it in recent years. This dress is a perfect reason to bring back the pink.

Simply Stunning

Chelsea Clinton has never been considered much of a fashion icon, but her choice of gowns for her wedding on Saturday was perfection. Chelsea was simply stunning in a strapless bodice, laser-cut organza ball skirt and a glittery embellished belt by designer Vera Wang. For the reception, she changed into a Grecian-style gown with a narrow, black grosgrain belt.
