Last week I came across this fantastic, and kind of ridiculous, interview of Kiernan Shipka (Sally Draper from Mad Men).  Despite being 12 (and a 1/2...because that matters when you're 12), she's incredibly mature and articulate...she uses words like visionary. I don't think I even knew that word when I was 12?

I have this strange obsession with this 12 year old. Maybe it's the fact that she fills her closet with the likes of Chanel, Oscar de la Renta and Milly. I think they call that jealousy!

Are You Mad?

Janie Bryant, costume designer for Mad Men, is coming out with a new book this fall. "The book is all about creating and defining your own personal style with an emphasis on femininity and elegance, and "Of course, Janie will also talk about her experiences on Mad Men and reveal some fantastic behind-the-scenes stories too."

Hopefully the book has a "How to" on being as chic as Betty Draper!

Mad for Mad Men

Mad Men returns to AMC on August 15th, and I cannot wait. I think it is one of the best shows on television, not only because of the incredible acting and great story lines, but also because of the fabulous fashion, especially that of January Jones and her character Betty Draper. I can't wait to see what the new season brings.

BTW...I adore the polka dot dress!
