Wish List

I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but I've already started compiling my Christmas wish list. Really I don't need anything, but it's always fun to have a list anyway.

My friend has this sweater, and it's way better in person than in this photo.

I would also really like to have the Athleta Aspire pant that I blogged about a few months ago (post here) in Navy. They've exceeded my expectations, and I've worn them even more than I anticipated.
Athleta Aspire ankle pant $79

If you saw my recent post (here), then you know I'm currently coveting everything from Sézane, including these loafers.
Michael Loafers $200

My practical self really wants this robot vacuum. I'm kind of a neat freak and get serious joy out of a clean house....the idea of a clean floor nearly all the time is just more than I can handle.

What I Wore...Athleta Makes Real Clothes

Up until a month ago I hadn't bought ANYTHING but maternity clothes. And it must be said, it's pretty nice to buy regular clothes again even if I've got a few more lbs to lose. I took a trip to the mall, yes THE MALL, the other day when I was still on maternity leave and went into the Athleta store. Did you know that Athleta makes something other than workout clothes? Yeah, me neither. And it's cute.

I've been in the market for a wide-knit sweater and the Merino Lodge Sweater was JUST the ticket. And the price, especially compared to some of the others I'd seen and liked, is completely reasonable at $108. I bought it in black but am seriously contemplating the walnut.

The sweater looks great on its own (it's not itchy) or with a button down underneath. I love how it's a little longer in the back, giving you nice bootie coverage. It was the perfect thing to wear on our recent trip apple picking.

Here are a few other non-workout clothes from Athleta that I'm eying.

First Time Buyer

I've been admiring my friend Melissa's pants for months now, and finally I got myself a pair.

This is my first purchase from Athleta, and I have to tell you, I don't know what has taken me so long. I could have easily purchased more than just the pants, but I exercised restraint and limited my purchase to just these. Their clothes are reasonably priced, seem to be good quality and are stylish. I'll be sure to do a "What I Wore" post in the coming weeks.

I see more Athleta in my future.
