Wouldn't it be fabulous to be the daughter of a fashion designer...to have the name de la Renta, Chanel, or Dior? There are a handful of mother/daughter teams that work in the business, or are in business together. Here are a few of my favorites....especially the Carolina Herreras.

P.S. I decided to save your eyes and exclude Allegra and Donatella Versace. Besides, they would be at the bottom of my list.

Signs of Summer

On my way home from the grocery store today, I saw my favorite sign of summer, Peonies. The hot weather here in Portland is accelerating the Peony season, so indulge before it is too late. I couldn't resist sharing a photo of these most fabulous flowers.



And of course, there is nothing better than a Pink dress to coordinate. This would be a really cute bridesmaid dress (Donna Karan).
