2015 Oscars Red Carpet Rundown

C & C readers, you're in for a treat! It's not every day that you get double blogging trouble in one post! Regan and I are here to give you our hits and misses from last night's Oscars (we limited ourselves to three each, which took some serious self-editing). I'm not sure where R stands on this, but I have to say, I was a little lot underwhelmed. Vanilla was served up in excess. They knew they were going to the Oscars, right? Let's start with my worst dressed.

Gwyneth, my Barbie from the 1980s called and wants her dress back. And I'm pretty sure John Boehner's tanning booth is not Goop approved.

Gwyneth Paltrow in Ralph & Russo Couture

I'm sorry Anna, I'm not going to miss this dress when it's gone. Chiffon done wrong.

Anna Kendrick in Thakoon

When selecting your Alexander McQueen, ask yourself, WWDKD (what would Duchess Kate do?). The answer, not this. That's all. Perfection on top, disaster on the bottom.

Felicity Jones in Alexander McQueen

Now on to my favorites...Marion Cotillard knows how to pick a Red Carpet dress. It's all about that moment. I'm sure this is going to be a controversial pick, but anyone who can wear a white dress with a black band under her butt and make it look good gets my respect.

I know, I said there was too much vanilla and then I pick this...but Reese you can do no wrong in my eyes. You epitomize Hollywood glamour (minus that little DUI slip). The hair, the makeup, the fit of this dress...pure perfection. And it looked impeccable on stage during the show.

And my favorite of the night, Jenny from the block utilizing every bit of two-sided tape available...your twins (both sets) are so proud...

Jennifer Lopez in Elie Saab
And all Luciana Duvall could think was "bitch stole my look."

And now it's my (Regan) turn to share my favorite "bests" and "worsts" from last night's red carpet. I'm with Katie and was less than excited about GP's pink dress. Remember back in 1999 when she wore a pink Ralph Lauren and WON an oscar! I'm pretty sure that was her "pink moment" and she should never attempt pink at the Oscars ever again.

Let's blame "new mommy brain" for Scarlett Johansson's dress and necklace choice. Your baby is not on the red carpet Scar...no need for a bib!

Lastly, it's not a worst dressed list without Lady Gaga! Just like Katie's Barbie wants her dress back from GP, my veterinarian needs his gloves back from Gaga. Isn't it lambing season?

Finally, my three favorites. I Loved Emma Stone in this stunning Elie Saab gown. This girl has been KILLING IT on the red carpet. She was edgy and chic at the SAG Awards and the Golden Globes and she saved the glitz and glamour for the Super Bowl of fashion. Well played Emma!

My second choice was a tough one. I had a number of contenders including Julianne Moore and Lupita Nyong'o , but I'm giving it to Rosamund Pike in Givenchy. This dress fit her figure perfectly, her makeup was flawless and she made a red shoe work with a red dress, which is NOT easy.

And I guess great minds think alike, or at least identical twin minds, because I thought Jennifer Lopez hit it out of the park. Yes, it's a lot of boob, but the dress is stunning. I'm pretty sure every 45 year old out there wishes they could rock that much boob and look as stunning as J Lo.

We'd to love your red carpet "hits" and "misses".
