You probably didn't realize it, but Katie and I were 100% off the grid for an entire week. We spent 6 days and 5 nights on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River with the best outfitter on the river, Middle Fork Rapid Transit.
Our trip began in Stanley, Idaho on this airplane!
Which landed on this dirt runway right next to the river, deep in the Frank Church Wilderness.

The scenery is breathtaking.
The outdoor activities are right at your "front door"...or shall I say, tent side.
Theme nights kept us "stylish" despite the lack of a shower.
Besides rafting, we hiked.

It was an incredible week filled with great food and drink, breathtaking scenery, fun adventures and the best guides on the river.
