I haven't posted a work outfit in a while, and I thought this one warranted a share. I'm a huge fan of emerald green. It's such a rich, beautiful color. And there are so many shades of it...and....they look good together! So on a freak-of-a-warm day last week I paired my green Zara turtleneck sweater (last year) with my go-to J. Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt in a slightly darker shade (sans tights).
This bracelet from one of my BFFs of Courcy Inspired Design was the perfect addition! She brought it all the way from India!
Putting an outfit together with pieces that are the same color is really quite easy - they should be on opposite sides of the color spectrum, one light, one dark. Here are some other examples of the trend.
