Jimmy Choo Bello Peep Toe Wedge |
If you read the blog regularly, you know that my colors are kelly green, navy, and white, and I have a small obsession with stripes. So, as you might imagine, when I came across these Manolo Blahniks, the shoe situation got a little tricky.
While these are not your typical wedding shoes, reality is, no one is really going to see them under my dress anyway. I know I will definitely wear them again, they go with our theme, and they definitely make a statement. And they'd look pretty cute next to the groomsmen's socks from Jack Spade in the pictures.
I go for a dress fitting in the middle of June and I'll be taking both pairs with me. In the meantime, the question remains, in which shoe will I say I do?
Oh, I love them both, but the striped shoes are super fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm firmly in the wedge column. They're gorgeous! And probably more long-day-standing friendly.
ReplyDeletethe Jimmy Choos!!! So much more FUN!
ReplyDeleteMy cousin's wife wore navy blue pumps on her wedding day and they looked fantastic! They're timeless. The last thing you want to be on your wedding day is super-trendy.
ReplyDeleteOne thing to consider is whether your dress is a true white. If not, the white stripes on the MBs may make it look "dirty" in comparison.
ReplyDeleteStripes!
ReplyDeleteEither way I have shoe envy!
ReplyDeleteStripes!!!! You need to wear something blue, so it can be the shoes!!!!
ReplyDeleteGo for the stripes Katie - they're different and fun and you'll love them forever!
ReplyDeleteWear both. Wear the striped one at the ceremony and wear the gold platforms at the party!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find these shoes?
