Today, October 4, all bloggers have been called to post about The Girl Effect in an effort to raise awareness and support for girls living in poverty so that, collectively, we can help work towards a solution to change their futures! There are 50 million 12 year old girls living in poverty and most will be subject to a life of forced marriage, children, prostitution and disease. The Girl Effect seeks to provide education, choice and freedom for girls so that they are allowed to grow and develop in hope to start a trend of positive change in the world for young women.
