Designer Profile

Prabal Gurung was born in Singapore, raised in Katmandu, and first entered the fashion world in New Delhi as a student at the National Institute of Fashion Technology. He moved to NYC in 1999 where he worked for fashion greats Donna Karan, Cynthia Rowley, and Bill Blass. He launched his first collection in Fall 2009, and his designs have been worn by celebrities such as Demi Moore and Rachel Weisz. I love the architectural quality of his clothes. They are elegant, chic, and modern.
